public health & government

goodpr. brings more than two decades of experience supporting government agencies, research institutions and nonprofit organizations on public-health, public-education and community-engagement initiatives.

For more than a decade, goodpr. worked with Los Angeles County agencies on programs addressing HIV prevention and testing, vaccination, emergency preparedness, foster youth rights, aging and caregiver resources, and other public priorities. The work often required coordinating government staff, community organizations, multicultural communications partners and other stakeholders to develop strategies and information that could effectively reach diverse communities.

Today, goodpr. supports the University of California’s California HIV Policy Research Centers, helping coordinate research and policy dissemination across university-based centers and community stakeholders. The work includes strategic planning, project management and translating complex research and policy information into accessible communications.

Additional government and public-sector experience includes work with Fresno County Department of Behavioral Health, Los Angeles County Workforce Development, Aging and Community Services, Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services, and other state and local public-education initiatives.
